Decorating the Christmas Tree!

Since it's getting so close to Christmas, I thought I'd share a couple videos over the next few days that will hopefully get you in the Christmas spirit. The other day my brother came home, so we finally got to decorate our tree together! It's fun and silly and I think you'll really enjoy it.

Be sure to check out last year's video here!

Don't Stress

Today I'll (hopefully) be finishing up my last bits of Christmas shopping. I've spent the past few days out shopping, and as much fun as it is, it can be a very tiring process. It's so easy to get bogged down in the "obligations" that come at Christmastime-- remember to send this, buy this, decorate this, etc. I think what is keeping me positive is, well the fact I love Christmas so much, but also that the gifts and the decorations and everything else doesn't really matter. Whaaaaat? I know, I know, but it's true.

It's great if you find that perfect present, but really whatever you get will be great. It's honestly the thought that counts. Don't worry about the card you forgot to send to so & so. They won't really mind. Oh, you burnt the cookies? No worries.

So in the next couple days, don't stress too much. Just have fun, stay positive, and be merry & happy... because Christmas is almost here!

Photo Friday ❄

Happy happy happy Friday! These past couple weeks have been awesome. I survived finals week, Amanda turned 20, I went camping with friends, and there's just a couple things to finish up before Christmas! I can't believe it's just a few days away. I still have a ton of shopping and crafting and baking left to do, but I can't wait! Here are a couple photos to sum up the last week or two. Be sure to let me know some of your festive plans for the weekend! And don't forget to come back tomorrow for another post from the 25 Days of Blogging!

My Favorite Christmas Movies

There are a ton of Christmas movies out there, but when it comes to my favorites, I sort of have an odd bunch. I grew up with most of these and have loved them more and more over the years. These are some that I have to watch every year, no matter what. Without further ado, here are my Top 5 Favorite Christmas Movies!

5. Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer

#5 was a tie between Rudolph & It's a Wonderful Life. I usually lose patience while sitting through It's a Wonderful life though, so Rudolph it is.

4. Elf

There are several times when I feel like Buddy the Elf during Christmastime. This movie just makes me so very happy.

3. Christmas Eve on Sesame Street

I grew up watching this movie every Christmas Eve with my family. Unfortunately, I think we've lost the VHS tape of it, but I found it on YouTube here! It still warms my heart every time I watch it.

2.  Unaccompanied Minors

One underrated Christmas movie I'd say. It's a silly movie for sure, but it sort of makes me want to be stuck in an airport for Christmas.

1. Eloise at Christmastime

This is my all time favorite Christmas movie. I love everything about this movie. The songs, the love stories, Eloise, and Julie Andrews of course. Again, it makes me want to live in a hotel during Christmas. And it really makes me want to visit New York at Christmas. If you've never seen this one, I highly suggest you do!

What are some of your favorite Christmas movies?

On My Nails: Nailtini Champagne ❄

It has been ages since I've reviewed a nail polish, so when this color showed up in my Ipsy bag last month, I knew I had to show it to you guys. I've never tried anything from Nailtini, but this shade "Champagne" is such a lovely color. It's a little more rose gold than it is champagne, but I quite like that. It applies very nicely, has a bit of shimmer to it, and I really love it. You'll have to excuse the weird bubbly-ness that is happening on my nails. Don't think it's the polish's fault! I just hadn't properly prepped my nails with a buffer. Overall, I think this shade is perfect for Christmastime & a nice departure from the reds I usually wear this time of year (though I'm sure I'll be wearing this sparkly red soon).
