It has been ages since I've reviewed a nail polish, so when this color showed up in my Ipsy bag last month, I knew I had to show it to you guys. I've never tried anything from Nailtini, but this shade "Champagne" is such a lovely color. It's a little more rose gold than it is champagne, but I quite like that. It applies very nicely, has a bit of shimmer to it, and I really love it. You'll have to excuse the weird bubbly-ness that is happening on my nails. Don't think it's the polish's fault! I just hadn't properly prepped my nails with a buffer. Overall, I think this shade is perfect for Christmastime & a nice departure from the reds I usually wear this time of year (though I'm sure I'll be wearing this sparkly red soon).

On My Nails: Orly Artificial Sweetener
I've been doing a bit of shopping lately, and I came across Orly's Artificial Sweetner for $4 at Marshall's. Quite the steal. I used to overlook Orly in the store, but after using this one, I knew I wanted to try some more. This color in particular is a great neutral pink. In the sunlight it looks a bit brighter at times, but it still isn't overwhelming. You may be able to tell in a few of the pictures, but it can look kind of mauve-y at times as well. I gravitate towards pinks anyway, but I love that this one is a bit more neutral. I think it's going to be a great everyday color for me.
Not crazy about the name, but I see where they're coming from.
I love the formula of these polishes, as well as the brush! The handle has a nice rubber grip, which doesn't make for the cutest packaging, but it's really practical. Although I'm a fan of the bigger brushes for painting my nails, this one doesn't bother me at all. It applies the polish very well.
Thanks to Marissa's advice on my last nail post, I think I've solved the bubbly nail issue. I think I might do a whole post dedicated to how I fixed the problem. It's a simple solution, but I'm very happy that it worked!
I always love hearing your nail polish recommendations! Are there any more from Orly that you think I should try?

On My Nails: Orly Rage
I've been wanting a rose gold polish for a while, and I've heard good things about Orly Rage, so I picked it up at Ulta about a month ago. Now, this isn't exactly the go-to color that I'd think of for summer, however, I think it serves as a really great neutral. It's a lovely shade, it's very flattering, and it isn't as distracting as a bright blue or hot pink. I still don't think it is exactly what I was looking for in the rose gold department. I want something a little more rosy; unless you are in sunlight, this often pulls more gold or even silver at times. I'm also till having the weird bubbles in my polish as well and I'm convinced it's the top coat I'm using. Sorry if that's a bit distracting!
^^ See the stupid bubbles? GRRR.
So 2 questions:
1. Have you found the perfect rose gold nail polish?
2. What are your recommendations for a base or top coat?

On My Nails: OPI I Love You Cherry Much
I bought this color in December time thinking it would be fun to wear for Christmas (and oh, it was), but it's been great for other occasions too. In April I got to go see a Taylor Swift concert and this was perfect for my nails... and for painting a 13 on my hand. Now that it's time for 4th of July, and seeing how I'm terrible at any sort of nail art, I think this is the perfect fit. I Love You Cherry Much is a gorgeous red, with a bit of sparkle and sheen that's fun without being too over the top.
OPI has the cutest names, hands down. I really need to invest in more, because I'm in love with the brushes, and this needed just 2 coats. I also love pairing it with Kook-A-Mango underneath to make it a bit brighter.
I always forget how difficult being a one-woman-show can be until I take pictures like the one above. I was balancing my camera on my knee, with self timer, but I got it. Thank goodness. I think it's also time I invest in a tripod.
I'm very excited for 4th of July this year... and as I'm writing this I don't even have plans. Besides making this pie again. I should probably figure that out.

On My Nails: Bikini So Teeny
Wearing blue on my nails was very different for me, but I love it! And can you imagine, this is my first Essie polish? I have to say that I prefer the bigger brush on this Sally Hansen polish for painting my fingernails though. It took two coats to get a really opaque look. I am having one problem, and you might be able to see in the pictures-- my polish keeps getting these tiny bubbles in them. I think it might be the base coat I'm using, but I'm not sure. Anyway, I love the color. I think it fulfills part of my childhood obsession with Cinderella.
What are some of your favorite Essie polishes?

On My Nails: Kook-A-Mango
For some reason I think nail polish looks weird on me, so I usually end up not wearing it. I'm also pretty terrible at doing it myself, so I tend to just keep my nails natural. I figured that if I'm going to actually wear some, I won't do something too crazy. I've had this Kook-A-Mango color by the Sally Hansen Salon line for a while now, and so I thought I'd give it a go. The color is really beautiful, a kind of coral red, and after two coats it was opaque (you honestly could go with just one). I've really grown to love the brush too. At first I hated it, because I only paint my toes, and the brush was too big. I'd just make a mess. However, for fingernails it makes the application process way easier. I topped it off with the Sally Hansen UV Top Coat from this kit, and I really love how it looks!
What nail polish should I try next?
