Photo Friday

This past week has been a big, huge blur. I'm amazed that somehow it's already Friday again and its been an entire week since I've been home. Its just been such a hectic and stressful week that I'm not quite sure where it all went. So for today's Photo Friday I want to reminisce on the wonderful weekend that I got to spend at home. I got to spend time with my mom, enjoy the beautiful weather, browse antique stores, stuff myself full of seafood, and of course cuddle with my puppy. It was the first time I've been home since the new year, and I surely did miss it. I like being at college, but there's nothing like visiting home.

What's in My Purse?

I've always loved watching these kind of videos. I think it goes back to my middle school days when everyone started carrying purses for the first time and we were all so eager to see what each other had inside. The contents have changed a little since then (I sadly no longer tote around my Tamagotchi), but it's still fun to snoop into other people's purses. Who knows. Mine is mostly full of gum wrappers, old movie tickets, and Chic-Fil-A coupons... which I get entirely too excited about. Anywho, I hope you enjoy, and I hope you have a lovely weekend!

A Pet Peeve

This.

Sharing a bathroom with other girls is something I have grown to despise after living in a dorm. I will not get into details, because its kinda nasty, though I will go off on one tangent...

I have deemed those who do not replace the roll of toilet paper after finishing it the laziest of all people. Don't get me wrong. I have done this many a times myself, but I have since stopped. I have pledged to replace the roll.

Why is it so difficult to replace the toilet paper roll? It adds a mere 10 seconds to your bathroom experience. For some reason we are so incredibly bothered by the fact that we have to replace the roll of toilet paper with a new one and I just don't understand why.

It especially irritates me in the bathroom I currently use. The way in which my bathroom is set up, the new rolls are right next to the toilet. They're not under a sink in a cabinet, they're not even in a closet-- they are 5 inches away from you. You do not even have to lift your bum from the toilet to replace the toilet paper roll. It couldn't be more simple.

So please, next time you see this unsightly sight above, take care of it. It's just polite. Don't be that person.

Replace the roll.

Pointless rant over.

Photo Friday

These past couple weeks have been extremely hectic and stressful-- definitely foreshadowing for how the rest of my semester will pan out. It makes me really sad that my blog has sort of been on the back burner, but between school, work, friends, sorority stuff, and attempting to get some sleep... there's been limited time for me to work on posts. Hopefully it won't be that way every week. I do have some exciting videos and a few trips that will surely inspire me.

I know I'm not the only one with a crazy busy schedule, so I hope this weekend you find some time to relax. It is Valentine's Day (unfortunately), so maybe make that your excuse to do something fun. I'll be heading out with some of my friends to dinner and a movie-- we single ladies do have to stick together. We're hoping to see a proposal at some point throughout the night. And obviously, don't forget to rummage the stores for discounted chocolate on Saturday.

Happy Friday, happy weekend. I'll leave you with a couple snapshots from the past couple crazy weeks.

M&Ms and Gummy Bears: The greatest combination of candies on the face of the planet and arguably the tastiest movie night snack. Don't knock it til you try it.

From a fun day spent with some of my best friends. Don't hate me cuz I'm cliché, please.

I was a fashionista as a child. Overalls + a tutu is just all kinds of right.

Snowpocalypse 2014 hit us hard, and I was incredibly happy.

I took about a million snow pictures, since this is probably the only time I'll see snow during college.

This was the first magazine I'd bought in months. And yes, I bought it just because of Lena Dunham.

From a typical it's-10:30-and-I-want-pizza-right-now night. Those happen a little too often.. but I'm kind of okay with that.

I hope you have a splendid weekend, and a mediocre Valentine's Day (I kid, I kid). If you wanna make my Valentine's Day less sucky, you can go follow me in the places below--

Thoughts on a Monday

Random Monday thoughts...
-Coffee was very much needed this morning.
-Why don't I ever go to bed at a decent time?
-(Googles insomnia)
-YouTube is just so addicting though
-And a new episode of Girls will be out tonight (!!!!)
-Lena Dunham's book is officially a go
-I'm going to actually read that book, mark my words
-I also need to read The Fault in Our Stars and sob my eyes out
-The fact that Shailene Woodley is playing the lead in the movie makes me want to sob my eyes out
-SLOTAT forever...
-Whenever the office phone rings I have a mini panic attack
-Transferring calls will be the death of me
-Why so many buttons?
-I need to watch Les Misérables immediately
-That picture of Anne Hathaway without teeth will forever haunt me
-I dreamed a dream in time gone by
-I had a dream that I would floss more
-So far unsuccessful
-Unsuccessful like that Psych test... oops
-Can I take a nap now?

Well, that about sums it up. Happy Monday.

Let's Talk

I feel like my lack of inspiration these past couple weeks has been noticeable here on the blog. I've written some posts, made some videos, but I haven't really been feeling inspired to write or create all that much lately. Part of it is the massive load of schoolwork that I had, but part of it was just me feeling uninspired.
I've been thinking a lot about the future. Future jobs, future relationships, and a lot about future projects. The more and more I think about that, the less inspired I feel to keep blogging. Though to me that doesn't make sense, because whenever I do make an effort to post, it always makes me happy.

I want to keep this blog going, but I can't help but think about the next thing I want to work on-- whatever that may be. So, I promise I'm not leaving now, and I'll continue to keep you (whoever actually reads this) updated. I know posts get sparse on here sometimes, but I'm going to try to keep it going.

Have a great weekend, and I will be back on Monday.
